This documentary is a very colourful and traditional view of India and its age-old custom of arranged marriages.
The programme follows the whole process of first meetings, the courtship, the engagement and finally the wedding. The festival itself runs over a period of three to four days during which hundreds of marriage ceremonies are performed.
